A New Approach

Innovation Greater Manchester is a new approach to driving innovation-led economic growth across Greater Manchester and coordinating a wider ecosystem of support focused on skills, talent, investment, and networks.   

Innovation Greater Manchester will prioritise innovation to support key sectors including sustainable advanced materials and manufacturing; AI, digital and advanced computing; diagnostics and genomics; and technology to support the transition to net zero.  

Through a partnership with Government, we are helping to create a network of innovation clusters across Northern cities and towns to scale and spread discoveries and inventions in these sectors into more businesses in more places.   

Innovation Greater Manchester will help to create more high-quality jobs and more productive companies across all areas of Greater Manchester to benefit all residents.
